I'm a stranger here, in a foreign land I am
From the kingdom up in heaven, an ambassador I am
My king and savior sends us in his love
The good news of forgiveness

Here is the message he gave us
He who died for us
Reconcile now, it's an order he gives
Reconcile now, with God!

It's my king's order that every sinner
Repentant already, turns to the savior
And will have salvation, for Christ promised
To give forgiveness, by his love

In my eternal home there will be no fear
Nor struggles and afflictions, nor more sadness and pain
And the redeemed already, there will receive
The welcome of the Lord
