Shackled by a weight
Oh! How sad I walked
Until I felt Christ's hand
I'm not the same as I used to be, I know

He touched me, Jesus touched me
With peace He filled my heart!
When the Lord Jesus touched me
He delivered me from darkness

Since I found Christ
And felt His tender love
I have found peace and life!
