Barnabé, Homem de Deus

It's not right for one to live well while the other suffers

His name was Barnabas, a native of Cyprus
Also known as Joseph the Comforter
A good and pious man, full of fear and faith
Man of God

And when Saul converted to Christ, he lacked a friend
Someone who could be a companion, a source of comfort and shelter
As a result of Christ's love
As a result of his commitment
A man went to find him, extending a hand

And when the church spread to every corner
By providence, yes, by God's hand, it reached Antioch
In need of a shepherd of souls
Even a shepherd of men
They went to find the one whom God had prepared
