Oração Noturna

This day that my Father gave me is over
Evening shadows already cover the sky
O blessed Jesus, if you are with me
I do not fear the night, I will sleep in peace

With sins today I have saddened you
But I ask your forgiveness for your sake
I am small and fragile, deliver me from evil!
May I have final protection in You

Guard the sailor in the violent sea
And to those who suffer pain, may you comfort them
To the tempted, extend your hand, Lord!
Send the Comforter to the sad and afflicted

For parents and friends, for the holy Law
For Divine love, I will give You thanks!
O Jesus, accept my petition
And, safe, I sleep without disturbance. Amen
