God does nothing without a plan or reason
When He tests His servant and gives him formation
Give thanks to God, when the test is done
In darkness, He gives us His peace

Rejoice in God, who makes no mistakes
He knows the end of the path you walk
For when He tests you, purifies you
Like gold, then you shall be

When darkness looms ahead
I look to the cross that Calvary reveals
I submit to the Master, I don't look back
Peace comes, and fear dissipates

Yes, I can see, trials come from God
In love, He strengthens and cleanses His own
My Father always does the best, yes, I know
I, cleansed, will bear more fruit
