Fruit of Youth

And even if the olive tree fruit lies
Yet I will rejoice in God, my great King

And when You were forming me, in a structured city
You planted in me a desire to exalt
To exalt Your name, to glorify Your name
For only You are holy, holiness alone
To You, oh King of kings
Praise and glory amen, amen

Ah when I was a child I recited
I said I am a little lamb and Jesus is my shepherd
And when I sang along with the youth
With me is Jesus, to fight the tempter

The memories, memories I had
Of when You would, would seal me
The promise manifested how many glories
Memories, memories I had
On the highways that turned into so many glories
That took the hearts, the memories

But time passed and now I am married
My life has changed, things are different
I know I have to be a little more believing
I no longer recite, but I worship You

But many of my friends still come to visit me
Some married and others single, but it's hard to remember
It's tough, life has started to change
So much weariness of the flesh I distanced myself from God
But one day God graced me and gave me a son
And he sang like this, my father
God is for us, who can be against us?

And how many times I prayed, ah I preached
And how many times I embraced, God how I loved
But today here in my house I can no longer pray
And all that's left is to wait on my Lord
