I was driving down the road
With the radio on, trying to hear
Trying to forget my problems
Not even the music could make me forget

The feeling of emptiness was huge
Desperately, I started to reflect
Suddenly, I spotted a little church
And a hymn I heard went like this

What a joy it is to be before the Lord
To hear His voice, a sweet voice full of love

The moment I stepped into that church
I felt a warmth like I’ve never felt before
And the glow of the people’s faces
Was so strong, I can’t even express it
The elder didn’t talk about religion
But the words hit my heart
It was a beautiful experience with God Himself
Now I sing one of the hymns I learned

Eternal life, they will surely attain
Up in heaven, the faithful
The crown, they will form
Around the King of kings

And then on my way back home
Still feeling a little piece of heaven
Oh, how I miss that little church
It was the closest thing to heaven
That I’ve ever seen, and now

I’m happy, I’m happy
Because I found the one who leads me to my home
But happier, even happier
I’ll be when I’m in my homeland
