Cântico de Ana

My heart exults in the Lord
My power is exalted in Him
My mouth opens wide against those who wish me ill
For I rejoice in Your salvation
There is no saint like You, O Savior

I also know that there is no other besides You
No rock will be like the great King
Power, knowledge, and strength He is
For the bows of the mighty have been broken
And life is given to every faithful

It is the Lord who takes life and gives it back
He brings down to the grave and raises up
He makes us rich or poor, if He wills
He humbles and can also exalt

And for almost all of this I have passed through
I have descended to the dust of the earth and returned
I am weak, but now I feel a wealth within me
I was humiliated, but God exalted me

He will make me sit among princes
And inherit the throne of glory in heaven
With the saints I will sing, if I overcome here
The world and its illusion
But I feel by faith that by my side is
The righteous and powerful Lord
