Minha Alma Engrandece

My soul magnifies my Savior
Who has looked upon me
And my spirit also rejoices
In God who has forgiven me

Redeemed by His great love
My soul praises God
For the precious blood of the Redeemer
Has washed away my sins

He granted me a place among the redeemed
Jesus my Savior
I am free from sin to serve
God with sincere love

Christ has converted my heart
With His eternal power
And has also dispelled the darkness of evil
Now I can see

Through the light of the word, I see the path
That leads to glory
I will receive peace, virtues to know
And faith in the Lord Jesus

Finally, I will enter heaven
To see the face of God
Oh! What happiness Christ has given me
For I will dwell in heaven
