O Crente e o Trem

The Believer and the Train
Looking over the sleepers, on the track where the train passes by.
I meditate on the life the believer has.
The believer is like the train, it must stay on the tracks.
Even when the storm comes, we must not stray.
The believer who talks a lot criticizing their brothers
But doesn't have the right life, only lives in murmuring.
This believer is like the train, blowing its whistle without reason.
Making a lot of noise, but never reaching the station.
The TV on, watching the soap opera, that's also it.
Makes the brother arrive at church only at the 'amen' time.
This believer seems more like the old and weak train
When it reaches the hill, it lacks the strength to climb.
The believer who drinks a lot, and gets drunk
Can be sure that they won't enter heaven.
Because the gate there is narrow and they can't pass through.
Because being full of alcohol makes it easier to burn.
The youth nowadays is losing their fear
Cutting their hair, saddening the Lord.
It's like the locomotive with rust in the injector
That hardly moves and only releases steam.
The believer who claims to preach and work.
It's easier to do nothing, they only know how to talk.
It's a train with a loose wheel that needs fixing.
Because in dangerous curves, it might derail.
I'll end my comparisons here
Meditating on this verse, many will agree with me.
I'm following my path towards the station.
Jesus Christ is the engineer and never loses direction.
