Salmos 137
Hinos Avulsos CCB
Psalms 137
Sitting by these rivers
Lord, I am
Consumed with sadness
For what happened
They surrounded all my brothers
Plundered all their goods
And now in captivity
Remembering Zion crying
The covenant God made
With our fathers
Transgressed by some
Suffered by the rest
And those who destroyed us
Came asking for a song
To make us rejoice
Singing a song from Zion
On the willow I hung my harp
For, as in a foreign land there, Lord
My praise I will sing
I will never forget you, Jerusalem
I will never forget you, Jerusalem
I know that one day my Lord
Will take me from here
And I will worship my God again
On the mountains of Judah
So now in this prayer
Humbled we are imploring you
Forgive our transgressions
And come, Lord, to set us free
Come Lord
With your strong hand
Come to help me
And in Jerusalem
I will sing joyfully
I will never forget you, Jerusalem
