Violão de Rei
Hinos Avulsos CCB
King's Guitar
Behold, one day of Affliction, I put away my guitar
And I told my Lord, that I won't play anymore
That in the trial of my life, made me cry
I don't know what a smile is, my life is just crying
Behold, one day on a staircase, I sat down and cried greatly and lamented there
For suddenly I saw, a man in white approaching
He brought a white guitar with golden strings to make me cry
Golden strings shining
The guitar was of a king
But I couldn't play
It wasn't mine I thought
Aah, aah I didn't see him play anymore
Aah, aah I didn't see him play anymore
He spoke of my life, everything I would go through
That in three months God would fulfill the promise
Oh Guitarist, be humble, to enter heaven
Your mission here on this earth is not to make anyone cry
But be humble when playing for God to bless you
Golden strings shining
The guitar was of a king
But I couldn't play
It wasn't mine I thought
Aah, aah I didn't see him play anymore
Aah, aah I didn't see him play anymore
And he ascended and departed and I didn't see him play anymore
But he promised that one day he would return
And wherever I am, I will always remember
He brought a white guitar, with golden strings to make me cry
Golden strings shining
The guitar was of a king
But I couldn't play
It wasn't mine I thought
Aah, aah I didn't see him play anymore
Aah, aah I didn't see him play anymore
