Hino de Almirante Tamandaré
Hinos de Cidades
Anthem of Admiral Tamandaré
In your sky, so beautiful and blue,
always shines the Southern Cross;
when God, composing the Universe,
created here his most beautiful verse;
and when painting, also, nature,
added more color to the brush, for sure...
In your forests, on the hill or sandbank,
sprouts, grows, and gives bracatinga honey,
which, combined with mineral extraction,
will produce its firewood for lime,
from this land a greater production
that is exported throughout the Nation.
Chorus
Admiral Tamandaré
your people have strength and faith,
keeping in their tradition,
Our Mother, Virgin of the Conception.
From the union of ore and labor
we equally produce limestone;
having always good production here
our corn, potatoes, and beans;
also strong in our crops
are cabbage, tomatoes, and carrots...
The Tingüi took us love
that preserves the stream and the flower;
Blue Jay planted the pine for us,
which grew towards the lofty sky;
and the warbles of our sabiá
have a beauty that others do not!...
In this blessed and happy land
lives a people who pray and predict
the greatness of Tamandaré
in the value of work and faith.
Chorus
Admiral Tamandaré
your people have strength and faith,
keeping in their tradition,
Our Mother, Virgin of the Conception
