Anthem of Salto - SP
Everyone sings their land,
I will also sing mine,
In these verses of praise.
And, pulsating my lyre,
I will make it a queen,
A poem of love.
Its stream is more cheerful,
There are more stars in its nights
And more flavor in its fruits.
Its meadows are greener,
Its afternoons more serene,
It has more rustling in its forests.
Salto!
Of the beautiful waterfall,
Of the flowery squares,
Of the flocks of tanagers.
Salto!
That enchant them,
Flying and singing
Here and there.
Here the bandeirantes,
Looking for diamonds,
Ventured into the backlands.
And so they were expanding
The immense horizons
Of this beloved nation.
They erected a chapel
And the Patron Virgin
Blessed my cradle.
People from all parts,
Who gradually arrived,
Populated my cradle.
Salto!
Of the beautiful waterfall,
Of the flowery squares,
Of the flocks of tanagers.
Salto!
That enchant them,
Flying and singing
Here and there.
Hail Salto so simple,
My exquisite land,
Of which I can be proud!
Hail Salto so simple,
My beautiful land
That I never tire of praising.
