Nada es Para Siempre
Homer El Mero Mero
Nothing is Forever
Yeah, yes
They're looking for me to kill me for yesterday's problems
And I want to negotiate it, I'm not going to hide
This life gave me problems, then money and power
My people are not afraid to die if they're going to defend me
But I don't believe in threats, I'm not easily amazed
I'm one of those who carry the team on their shoulders
With so much class that no cop catches this group
They take me to Madrid, like Fernando Redondo
Since I was a child, I loved metals
And over time, I showed skills to face the professionals
Now it comes out for me like it doesn't for you
And I'm on the corner smoking while my buddies play
I don't stop doing tricks, I look like a gypsy
If I have the ace up my sleeve and the knife in my hand
If I have to seek advice, I call my brother
Because whenever he sees me bad, he asks: who are we killing?
I keep passing the barrier, like Riquelme used to
Although I know well that in this life nothing is forever
If they swear to tell the truth, it's clear they're lying to you
Sometimes even the starter dreams of being the substitute
I find some music in my drug
And so I spend hours, talking to myself alone
All the pain I have in the center of my heart
Disappears when poetry steals it
A pencil, a paper, a joint, and a gun
And eyes that cry thinking about what they long for
And there are powers left under the rug
In the mind of a poet, who amazes with every letter
And there's no medication for my madness
Anxiety tortures me, capture is coming for me
If they didn't kill me in dark streets
It was because I was with God for him to offer me his help
