Amanece En El Sur
Hugo Gimenez Agúero
Dawn In The South
Dawn in the south and in the silence
The shadows of work awaken
Plowing through circumstances and injustices
Piling up wills and patience
A single tree, a single nest
A single bird in the air
Dawn in the south and hope
Is hope at last not a war
It's the battle against all forgetfulness
Against those who have subjected our land
But we are in the air and in the river
On the plateau and in the mountain range
In the Verdor de Las Manzanas valley
On the Blue Line rail that still waits
We are in the Andean condor
And we will be there as long as we have
A single tree, a single nest
A single bird in the air
Dawn in the south and among the flowers
Thorns almost always appear
Selling their colorful mirrors
Not caring about what they contaminate
A single tree, a single nest
A single bird in the air
Dawn in the south and in the snowfalls
The old footprints of the grandfather return
Who died waiting for the promises
That were always made to us
But we are in the air and in the river
On the plateau and in the mountain range
In the Verdor de Las Manzanas valley
In the Sierra Grande mine that still waits
We are in the Andean condor
And we will be there as long as we have
A single tree, a single nest
A single bird in the air
A single tree, a single nest
A single bird in the air
(A single tree, a single nest
A single bird in the air)
We will be there as long as we have
A single tree, a single nest
A single bird in the air
