There is nothing true left

For tougher skin, for less harm

For my family, and their wounds
For my friends and their kindness
For quality, not quantity
For my mom, for my dad
So they never struggle to breathe
For not giving strength to vanity
Because beauty comes from speaking
It's not real

I want to fall asleep on this plane
Face its storms, come out victorious
A little drama, and a little love
And I hope this year fills my heart
