Sangue e água

Betrayed by a kiss, by one of his friends
And soon he would be on a cross, amidst two criminals
His blood spilled on the ground, until the last drop
The serpent attacks the victim, killing through the mouth.

All of heaven fell silent before the cross
The Father's heart wept for his Jesus
Not for the pain or the wounds, but for the simple reason
that men did not understand, rejecting salvation.

On the cross, he breathed his last. It was then that a spear pierced him and there, on that cross, my Jesus died.
And from his side, blood and water flowed.

And those who remained buried the Man-God
And with him buried their dreams
What God asks of his people is to not lose hope,
for, to God, nothing is impossible, in everything there can be changes.

An angel then descended and the earth trembled in its entirety
And the empty tomb remained there, for not even death could hold him
The stone then rolled away, for the world to see the full power of our God
He rose, our God rose
He rose, he rose.
