Even though the fig tree does not blossom
Nor are there grapes on the vines
Even if the olive crop fails
And the fields produce no food
Even if the world around turns cold and dark
Even if loneliness invades me
And wants to make a home in me
I trust in you
And I decide to rejoice in Jehovah
In the God of my salvation
