Like every human being, I make plans
And projects that I wish to accomplish
But the voice of conscience makes me understand
That it's all in vain
If I don't know you

What is the value of my existence
If your presence is not within me
What is the value of all the silver and gold?
If my greatest desire is
To receive you

Lord Jesus
Baptize me with the Holy Spirit
And let your nature be born in me
So that I can contemplate your greatness
Be your witness wherever I go
And take your love to the ends of the earth
