Cuando yo era un niño
Iguana Tango
When I Was a Kid
When I was a kid not long ago
I knew what it was to play
On the street inventing a thousand stories
And the trading cards by the wall
And playing British Bulldog
Without even knowing what it was to have a girlfriend
There were always a couple of heroes, we called them dads
I learned the value of friendship
I learned to laugh, I learned to cry
I learned that dreams can come true
I learned to use my imagination
To read a story with emotion
To look into the eyes when you have to ask for forgiveness
When I was a kid it wasn't like today
Now they don't have to invent anymore
Innocence is something virtual
In the parks only couples play
There's no time to educate anymore
Only matters who and how much they'll do it for
While they collect promises
Now they look for their heroes in any other place
I learned the value of friendship
I learned to laugh, I learned to cry
I learned that dreams can come true
I learned to use my imagination
To read a story with emotion
To look into the eyes when you have to ask for forgiveness
When I was a kid it wasn't like today
I learned the value of friendship...
