Walking once
By the boardwalk
I was ecstatic
To see a flower
Perfuming the river.
It was angelic
Like the orange blossom
And it ran and ran,
Crossing the horizon
It disappeared.

I wanted to touch it
I wanted to hug it
I wanted to love it like you
-As if I were a magician
To contain
The force of the river-,
And it started hiding
And it started leaving
Then it disappeared,
Years went by
And the mysterious time
Took her away from me;
That's why in my dreams
When I remember you
I sadly go to the boardwalk,
To see if the river
Changes the current
And I see my flower again.
