Un Monde Parfait

A Perfect World
This morning, I picture a drawing without a cloud
With a few colors, like my brush strokes
Some blue, some red, I feel as calm as a picture
With a few houses and a few animals
This morning, I picture a country without a cloud
Where all the parrots no longer live in a cage
Some yellows, some greens, some whites, I put what I like
Because that's how I imagine a perfect world
A bird, a child, a goat
The blue of the sky, a beautiful smile at the corner of the lips
A crocodile, a cow, some sun
And tonight, I fall asleep in wonderland
A bird, a pencil, a goat
The blue of the sky, a little sugar, a little salt
A crocodile, some flowers, a bee
And tonight, I fall asleep in wonderland
This morning, I picture a drawing without a star
In all colors, a drawing without a border
When I no longer like it, I erase everything and start over
With other houses and other animals
This morning, I picture a country without a cloud
Where all the parrots no longer live in a cage
Some yellows, some greens, some whites, I do what I like
Because that's how I imagine a perfect world
A bird, a child, a goat
The blue of the sky, a beautiful smile at the corner of the lips
A crocodile, a cow, some sun
And tonight, I fall asleep in wonderland
A bird, a pencil, a goat
The blue of the sky, a little sugar, a little salt
A crocodile, some flowers, a bee
And tonight, I fall asleep in wonderland
A bird, a child, a goat
The blue of the sky, a beautiful smile at the corner of the lips
A crocodile, a cow, some sun
And tonight, I fall asleep in wonderland
A bird, a pencil, a goat
The blue of the sky, a little sugar, a little salt
A crocodile, some flowers, a bee
And tonight, I fall asleep in wonderland
