Chose for this carnival
And the asphalt as a catwalk
Will be the canvas of Brazil in the form of a watercolor

Strolling through the surroundings of the Amazon
I met vast rubber plantations
In Pará, the island of Marajó
And the old hut of Timbó
Walking a little further
I came across beautiful coconut groves
I was in Ceará, land of Irapuã
Of Iracema and Tupã.

I was radiant with joy
When I arrived in Bahia
Bahia of Castro Alves, of acarajé
Of magical nights of candomblé
After crossing the forests of Ipu
I witnessed in Pernambuco
The festival of frevo and maracatu
Brasília has its highlight
In art, beauty, and architecture
Enchantment of drizzle through the mountains
São Paulo magnifies our land
From the East to the Midwest
Everything is beautiful and has a beautiful hue
The Rio of sambas and drumbeats
Of the hustlers and mulattos
Of feverish sways.
Brazil, these our green forests
Waterfalls and cascades
Of subtle color
And this beautiful indigo blue sky
Frame the watercolor of my Brazil
