Se Fue Para Siempre

Gone Forever
The memories hurt,
when I wake up one morning,
in a bitter dawn on a date that’s still in love.
Gone forever, gone forever,
gone forever my sailor.
My little sailboat’s lost its way,
it’s here with me, a president of its own body.
I can’t sleep and I don’t see you, and in your photos I find comfort
and the universe is too much, but I’m missing your kisses,
but I’m missing your kisses.
I look at the stars and I tell them:
- God, do I deserve this… -.
I’ll carry my sorrows deep in my chest.
Gone forever my sailor.
My little sailboat’s lost its way,
it’s here with me, a president of its own body.
Just like a flower needs fresh water and the sun’s caress,
I need someone to take care of my heart, oh my heart.
Mine, the pain is only mine,
it kills me with agony and this sad madness.
I want, I just want, to give you my longing,
and wake up next to you.
And wait for me, sailor, in the wide sea and the vast sky.
Because without you, I’m nothing,
because without you, I’m dying.
Gone forever, gone forever,
gone forever my sailor.
My little sailboat’s lost its way,
it’s here with me, a president of its own body.
