The Complaint
The curtain has been drawn
The party continues
My long and sad speech
Is part of the show.
I give you the continuation
Because that's what was promised
Clear your senses
And have verification.
The evidence will be the witness
Here I have it in my hand
To condemn the villain
Who I have as an enemy.
My songs untie knots
Here goes the first shot.
My verses won't go through the hoop
For the greeting.
Towards midwinter
When the nights are harsh
We see so many creatures
Already fighting in this hell
I'd rather death come to me
Than continue seeing this example.
The poor live in silence
And already suffer a cruel punishment
Seeing their ten children
In misery and vice.
On the edge of the precipice
The wheat is rotting.
Not even the most flamboyant
Can pass by indifferently
If love for fellow beings
Shines in our conscience.
It's a very harsh infamy
That they don't escape the pit.
Pain is disgraceful
And I ask from the start
If justice in life
Exists for the wretched.
They are taken through Calvary
Burdened with a cross
They are denied even the light
Blinded by their shroud
Left without the roses
Without air and springs.
What good are temples to us
What good is the sun and pure air
When their sun is dark
And they walk blindly.
I need a guide
To light up this torment.
