Tomorrow I'm going north
To sing to the northerners
I have my trutruca ready
My drum and my cymbals.

A serenade in the pampa
I will offer to the saltpeter worker
With a little bouquet of loves
Gift from the southerners.

We will adorn the table
With tamarugo flowers
Tinged with copihues
From the copihual of Temuco.

And when I start singing
Let all the quenas cry
Let the Indian drum beat
To the sound of all their sorrows.
