Não Corte Sua Cruz

Don't Cut Your Cross
I heard a preacher make an illustration
To reach the promised land, you gotta cross the Jordan
And the cross we bear is often the walkway
When we get to the Jordan, we gotta go through it
I was talking about a man who claimed to be a believer
Followed the crowd, but was always a griever
Fooling himself, forgetting about Jesus
And on the long road, he was sawing his Cross
At the Jordan crossing, the crowd held up the Cross
Crossing to the other side, so happy with Jesus
But the disobedient can't make it across
His Cross was too short, couldn't make it to the other side
Brothers, let's do like the late Canarinho
Climbed the hill, came down, never took a break on the way
His cross was whole, and he crossed the Jordan
He was faithful to the end and reached victory
I carry my cross even when I feel tired, it's heavy on the climb
But going down, it gets easier, I’m following my Jesus facing the barriers
When I get to the Jordan, I want my cross whole
