Ese Tren de la Vida
Isabel Pantoja
That Life Train
A May rain, a poem, an I love you, and a scent, a sweet tear, a flower suspended in the air, an empty street, an endless goodbye
and an icy phrase, a frosty silence between us, and a blue horizon and a train.
That life train took so many things
it took a morning, the taste of your mouth
and left me without you
that life train took my I love you
you fell asleep in its iron arms
and I was left without you, without you
the leaves are falling on the calendar, my love
the silence has been erased, the story of time that has passed, but you don't leave, you stayed with me
you caress my soul, you shout at me, you talk to me, you're here, and I'm dying today for you
