We're not the first ones
To change our destiny,
Many others fought
With silent nostalgia
And tight distance.
With what has happened to us
We must widen our view,
Now it's our turn
To see that our beloved land
Screams in enslaved America.
No one can at this hour
Paralyze reason.
It's no longer time to wait,
We must take action
To keep living
Without turning the page,
Never forgetting
Where the homeland is.
Our people are not alone,
Their problem is not foreign
From all continents
Of brotherly hearts
Thousands of hands rise.
The blow leaves lessons
That strike with truth,
From shaken abysses
Emerges the vital strength
Of uniting to fight.
