A Vida É Assim
Isadora Pompeo
That's Life
Today I woke up too pensive
Childhood memories in my parents' arms
I used to play on the street, and I was happy
And my biggest trophy was a scar
I remember spending all the time I had
Playing soccer, and also house
What a good time, thank you Lord
End of the year at the beach
My mother forced me to wear a skirt
And I ran on the sand, dirtied my whole outfit
What a good time, thank you Lord
And I played my guitar
Every day a new song
It was me and God, and it was so good
And now that I've grown up, I've learned
That life is lived intensely
We make mistakes, then we learn
We make a mess, but we understand each other
That's life
