Paixão de Cristo

On the shores of Galilee, Jesus comes
Thinking of that cross
And the pain He would feel
In Gethsemane, He prayed and said:
Father, let Your will be done
Let it be greater than my own desire

And the crowd shouted: IF YOU'RE THE CHRIST, SAVE YOURSELF
But He chose to drink from that cup

Master, forgive me, I was in Jerusalem too
Just like Pilate, I said amen
I washed my hands there as well

Master, one day I denied You too
I didn't recognize You as my King
Among wrongdoers, they placed my Jesus
In His arms on the cross

But on the third day, He conquered
Death
And triumphed in glory
And throughout the land, the shout was heard
Jesus has risen!
