Little Red Riding Hood
Little Red Riding Hood is only sixteen
springs without flowers, dad says: "Come.
Little Red Riding Hood, you are young and you have to learn
to take care of the house, as you will be a woman.
So you can be a good wife
and not grow old alone,
in bed and in the kitchen you must know
how to make your husband happy and care for each child,
that your destiny traps you,
that you must be a mother and a wife".
And poor Little Red Riding Hood cries.
"I want to fly, escape from here.
Tell me, my love, who will cry for me
if they give me wings and I fly away.
I want to sleep, I don't want to wake up,
I want to be the rain on the other side of the glass,
maybe someone is waiting for me in the darkness".
One cold afternoon Little Red Riding Hood was
going to her grandmother's house to take her food,
when she met a ferocious wolf.
Tell me where you're going, girl, I'll accompany you.
The girl knew she was lost.
Little Red Riding Hood screamed
as the wolf devoured her.
Under the skirt of her dress
the dormant dreams burst
that kept her alive at night. Poor Little Red Riding Hood.
"I want to fly, escape from here.
Tell me, my love, who will cry for me
if they give me wings and I fly away.
I want to sleep, I don't want to wake up,
I want to be the rain on the other side of the glass,
maybe someone is waiting for me in the darkness".
One gray morning Little Red Riding Hood got married,
dressed in white, beautiful as a flower.
Her husband, very elegant, another ferocious wolf,
and her proud father cried with emotion.
Now every night the wolf devours her,
sinks his teeth, and Little Red Riding Hood cries
while waiting for a howl
to tell her that the sleeping animal woke up.
Then the evil ferocious wolf rests peacefully.
Little Red Riding Hood's face lights up with a smile
as she rocks a cradle. In it lies a girl,
perhaps a future sheep for a ferocious wolf,
unless your love luckily rescues her.
Little Red Riding Hood rocks her against her chest
and a slow, hopeful
murmur full of life,
Little Red Riding Hood sings.
"I want to fly, escape from here.
Tell me, my love, who will cry for me
if they give me wings and I fly away.
I want to sleep, I don't want to wake up,
I want to be the rain on the other side of the glass,
maybe someone is waiting for me in the darkness.
I want to fly."
