Depois dos Temporais
Ivan Lins
After the Storms
They always lived on the same boat
They were cut from the same cloth
From the same navy, from the same queen
Under the same flag
Waving on the mast
And so, they followed the stars
They cut the ties and the knots
Leaving behind the port and the dock
Yelling until losing their voice
In search of the immense
Of the most intense silence
That is after the storms
And so, they always moved forward
Making love across the seven seas
Filling the water with seaweed and fish
Following the winds, the tides, and the currents
And the path of the dolphins
The trail of the whales
And there were no reefs
Nor sandbanks
Nor fears, nor more pains
There was no fatigue
There was only, there was only
Blue and space
And so, they always moved forward
Making love across the seven seas
Filling the water with seaweed and fish
Following the winds, the tides, and the currents
And the path of the dolphins
The trail of the whales
And there were no reefs
Nor sandbanks
Nor fears, nor more pains
There was no fatigue
But there was only, there was only
Blue and space
