How many times have I stumbled on my way?
How many times have I scratched myself on thorns?
How many times have I cried in pain
So bitter, without love?
How many times have I renounced my Lord?

How many times have I tried to overcome temptation?
How many times have I tried but it was in vain?
Until a voice then said to me
Let me change your heart
Let me free you from this prison

My life now is all about light
Nothing separates me from Jesus
