Moabites are preparing to face
All who are with King Josaphat
They come armed, sure they will win
For they were trained to never lose

A great multitude is coming from across the sea
What will we do if we fight, we won't win
They have weapons and soldiers, and we will perish

But Josaphat proclaims fasting
No one eats, no one drinks
Until God answers us
And on his knees in the midst of the congregation
King Josaphat began to say
Oh, Lord, God of our fathers, are you not the God of heaven?
For you are the ruler over all the kingdoms of the earth
And in your hand there is strength and power
And in us, Lord, in us, Lord, there is no strength
Before this great multitude coming against us
And we do not know what to do
But our eyes are on you

And after all the people began to worship
A glory appeared in the congregation
God took Jaaziel and began to use
Listen, all of Judah, to the voice of God

And you inhabitants of Jerusalem
And you, King Josaphat, thus says the Lord
Do not fear, do not be dismayed
Because of this great multitude
For the battle is not yours, but God's
In this battle you will not have to fight
Stand still, stand and see the salvation of the Lord with you

Call the singers
And put them in front to praise
Command to keep all weapons
I will act differently
Your work today is to worship
And while they praised God
