El Huerto

The Orchard
And for what purpose all that dialectic in history?
Why go to paradise while being dead?
Why reach glory while alive
If glory is very far from this orchard?
All together, those who know about distances affirm
We will reach the end of culture
Sculpture of corpse and concrete
To settle at the end of culture
There are also those who affirm that it is only suffering
Bearable only in oblivion
The one who sings is looking for someone thirsty
To pour his empty glass over
I don't know how much the past is felt
Because knowing it is simply being already dead
I will continue singing about the forbidden
And enjoying the fruits of this orchard
And, for what purpose
