La Hermana de La Coneja
Jaime Roos
The Sister of The Rabbit
In a dirty warehouse, stronghold of the Old City
The sister of The Rabbit, lost her virginity
Witness in the darkness, a moth-eaten mattress
That remained imprinted, with indelible memory
And is the origin of this story, that I'm not sure if it's true
It was as it always happens, they sneaked in with Tito
That skinny dark-haired guy, who conquered her with caresses
And defying fate, they stopped the foreplay
The hornet's nest was stirred up, sixteen years is a lot
When it hits you like a slap, and life demands leather
Then the familiar tales, 'what are we going to do'
That you can't have him, that I already got the money
A cry, four caresses, that everything will be fine
The back of a store, the goodbye to skinny Tito
And the beginning of a journey, more shaky than a train
Now she's a lady of sorts, and summers in the East
No one would imagine, that she was from Pascual beach
Her act is not good, she flirts with 'guys' and 'school'
She works it like a 'boss', and hangs out 'really cool'
With 'rubber' instead of jute, and without asking for prices
Now she really has fun, on a ridiculous mattress
Short hair 'à la garçon', and glasses with a chain
She goes to the psychoanalyst, doesn't even mention her sister
But a shadow marks her, that she could never dodge
How did she end up like this!, there... In the Old City
The sister of The Rabbit
