It's not therapist talk, I just want to understand
When a great love ends
We worry about knowing why
Why did it go wrong?
Where did it go off track?
Where did the soul and joy of our love go?

It's not any analysis
It's just a plea from someone who lived the pain up close
We suffer, we explain
But it doesn't get resolved, just complicates

The mind despairs and the heart doesn't wait
If we're going crazy for love
It's much better to be together
Because being alone is much worse (because saying goodbye is much worse)
Lie down, think about tomorrow, think and lie down on my couch.
