Worldly Believer
In the church there is a believer
There is also a Christian
Between the weak and the strong
There is a separation
Each has their own space
Thus the world is divided
One is a true Christian
The other is a worldly believer.
Worldly believer, worldly believer
Puts one foot in the church and the other in the world
Worldly believer, worldly believer
Puts one foot in the church and the other in the world.
The Christian is consecrated
Has their life on the altar
Every storm that passes
They stand firm each time
But the believer is doubtful
They only think about the world
Their life is a stumble
They are a worldly believer.
Look brother, be careful
With the sanctimonious believer
In the church they are an angel
But outside they are not
They live mixed
With the things of this world
They have nothing of a saint
They are a worldly believer.
The Christian has a mark
And that God is known
It was the blood of the lamb
Where their spirits were washed
But the lazy believer
With a filthy heart
Will pay a high price
Because they are a worldly believer.
When the believer is a liar
Talkative and a gossip
They always live in misery
Complaining without money
They can't prosper
Everything they do goes downhill
Their life is a hell
Beware, worldly believer.
