Consertando o Altar

I need to think more about God
More about God I need to think
My life is out of alignment
My life I need to align
My altar is messy
My altar I need to tidy
Believer like this
Cannot enter heaven

My altar is the stones that crumbled
From my sad days that passed
When I stayed far from God
My pride was the cause of my sins
I forgot to think more about God
Vainly I failed
I discovered that man without God is nothing
A lighthouse with a dimmed light
That's how I cried from afar

I know that falling is human
But the Lord makes him rise
No matter how much he has sinned
God is great in forgiving
When man confesses and leaves
Mercy he will find
Blessed he will be
Who fixes the altar
