Come, Jesus! Your church awaits You
From this ephemeral life we want to depart
Come, Jesus! Your people are anxious
Longing for the eternal home
Our homeland beyond, new Jerusalem
Glorious expectation, the church is alive
Awaiting the glorious moment
When Christ shall appear
The dead in Christ shall rise
Completing the church, all transformed
Without the world seeing, we will fly beyond the veil
We will cross the heavenly thresholds in great joy
And from this day on, we will be with Christ in heaven eternally
Come, Jesus! Your church is listening
Like the wise virgins, waiting for You

Clothed and adorned by the Spirit of God
