Reaching Hand

Reaching Hand
Did I cry because I was sad or just because you don’t know?
Like a river flowing silently, it just goes on.
With a heart that’s shaking, I carve out my day,
I kept telling myself I wouldn’t fall.
Yeah, the world is always strange,
And today feels just like the same old place.
So for a moment, I laugh alone,
Erasing yesterday and sketching out tomorrow.
Crying more by myself, if I don’t stop now,
As I walk on,
The past comes back to set me straight.
Like a flower blooming and wilting,
You comfort me, saying it’s okay to fall.
Yeah, the world feels a bit lonely,
And we’re still in the same spot.
With my eyes closed, I long for that moment,
Quietly, I hear the voice of my heart.
Telling me I’m doing alright,
When our hearts reach out to each other.
Everything blooms anew,
Filling today and dreaming of tomorrow.
In that moment when everything blossoms again,
When we reach out,
When we reach out.
Like a flower blooming and wilting.
