Noche Sin Estrellas
Jared Gomez
Night Without Stars
Now I find myself alone, realizing
All the substances I couldn't control
The mirage of thinking of you in front of me
Totally makes me reflect
In the middle of the night in darkness
And my shadows even start to talk to me
I only feel chills when I engage
In the long chat of the never-ending story
But you have nothing, I just say
That this nothing is starting to shake
The emptiness in my body
Where I think without nights of tenderness to ask
Why do you want to leave me?
From nothing to rise, I’ll never let you go
There’s no doubt about what you think of me
You lit a campfire, so why did you leave?
The flame remains intact, you were always the bad one
The night without stars, what happened to those?
Your great ungrateful whisper that you were and just leave
You leave me, you complain
But that will never be another night
Like those from the past
Even though it’s from the past, I haven’t forgotten
A big lesson I haven’t forgotten
Since you were left without troubles, the heart neglected
You mocked me to my face, and you told
The same five jokes, which you repeated
I love you, I long for you, but this can’t go on
Six months of forgetting, which I repeat to the people you love
Counting the night and the reproach in the car where there was passion
The great agony of that seat where this ended
It couldn’t go on, so you leave, and I start to cry
Now I find myself alone, realizing
All the substances I couldn't control
The mirage of thinking of you in front of me
Totally makes me reflect
In the middle of the night in darkness
And my shadows even start to talk to me
I only feel chills when I engage
In the long chat of the never-ending story
But you have nothing, I just say
That this nothing is starting to shake
The emptiness in my body
Where I think without nights of tenderness to ask
Why do you want to leave me?
From nothing to rise, I’ll never let you go
There’s no doubt about what you think of me
You lit a campfire, so why did you leave?
The flame remains intact, you were always the bad one
The night without stars, what happened to those?
Your great ungrateful whisper that you were and just leave
You leave me, you complain
But that will never be another night
Like those from the past, even though it’s from the past, I haven’t forgotten
A big lesson I haven’t forgotten
Since you were left without troubles, the heart neglected.
