Buchitos de Esperanza

Bits of Hope
Stormy times are rolling in, in the town of my heart..
Oh, doubts on the rooftop that won’t go away, they’ve decided to take a piece of it..
And in the sea of my feelings.. I can’t see any sailing ships..
And on the beach of my forgetfulness, there’s not a soul.. and it’s all deserted..
Don’t leave me anymore, if you go, I’ll cry..
Behind the bushes with my handkerchief, I dry my tears so no one sees me..
Don’t leave me anymore, if you go, I’ll cry..
I’m a keychain without keys, a poet without his pen, and a windmill without the air.
Today my body walks barefoot..
And my soul walks naked..
In the shadow of a memory, I’m wrapped in cobwebs
From those cries that have turned to nothing.
From your cup, I drank and a bit of hope..
That looks into the high eyes I dreamed of, and finally searching in you, I found it.
Now that the illusion is lost, I ask myself in a corner if it all made sense.
