Mi Religion

My Religion
I forgot how short life is
And now I'm doomed to live in solitude
I fell into the trap of lies
Because the world lost its way
And I lost my place
And on my path, divine punishment
Challenges my destiny
Thank God I believe in nothing!
There's no sin or guilt in my religion
Thank God my soul burns!
And it doesn't stop waging war on my heart
I'm tired of burnt idols
Because there's no speech that can lift me up
Everyone runs to get nowhere
And although they live deceived, they will always settle
For promises never fulfilled
Let no one tell me what to do with my life
Thank God I believe in nothing!
There's no sin or guilt in my religion
Thank God my soul burns!
And it doesn't stop waging war on my heart
I'll fly looking for another starting point
I'll fly because there's no time to think
You know everything is borrowed in this life
And what little I have left, I'll bet it all
And on my path, divine punishment
Challenges my destiny
Thank God I believe in nothing!
There's no sin or guilt in my religion
Thank God my soul burns!
And it doesn't stop waging war on my heart
