Chercheur De Lumière
Jean-Louis Pick
Seeker of Light
At the bottom of the big roaring boat
One feels the sea that caresses the world.
The sea that accompanies itself to the sound of the running winds
The sea, always, sings me the song, you will lose your friends.
I am a seeker of light.
I crossed the border under the night of truancy, I will seek my life.
The past throws me your despair
The sweet words you whispered to us.
In my head, your tears dance in silence.
Will we ever know where the wind comes from?
The women with fish bellies
Have put my soul to sleep with vague potions.
I have so much to discover, I was born by leaving
The eyes of my companions, the games and the vows
I will live by leaving.
I sing, my mother's belly
Resembled this, at the bottom of this boat, I found life again.
The past throws me your despair
The sweet words you whispered to us.
In my head, your tears dance in silence.
Will we ever know where the wind comes from?
I don't know what I'm looking for.
I know what I'm leaving, don't judge too quickly.
I will one day know how to take back my loves.
Lead them where I live, because there, I will have my life, there, I will have my friends.
At the bottom of the big roaring boat
I feel the sea that caresses the world, so goes my life.
The past throws me your despair
The sweet words you whispered to us.
In my head, your tears dance in silence.
Will we ever know where the wind comes from?
The past throws me your despair
The sweet words you whispered to us.
In my head, your tears dance in silence.
Will we ever know where the wind comes from?
