This winter lasted longer than expected
It's been a while since I've seen spring
It's been a long time since the Sun shone brightly
My heart clouded over without me realizing

And I long for the morning when the Sun will rise, when it will shine

Come to melt the frost
That this winter left me
This chilling embrace

The cold left by your absence hurts
