I come from the south and the north
From the west and the east, from everywhere
I travel the road of life
Bringing help to those in need
Peace is my strong suit
I cross mountains and I will learn
The world does not satisfy me
What I want is peace, what I want is to live

In my heart I carry a cross
In my heart what Jesus said

I know I don't have the age
Of maturity of those who have lived
But I know I already have the age
To see the truth, what I want to be
The wounded and tired world
From a sad past of endless wars
Is afraid of the bomb it created
And the faith it undid but points to me

I come to deliver my message
I have no past but I understand
A young man was crucified
For teaching us how to live
I shout to the unbelieving world that I want to be human
That I believe in the cross
I believe in the strength of the young
Who follow the path of Christ Jesus
