Quan Tot És Cert
Joan Dausà
When Everything Is True
You knew the name of every star
You talked about planets
That few people know
You fell asleep looking out the window
And you traveled through galaxies
Lost in the middle of the universe
The world looked at you and smiled
Children drew you
With a helmet under your arm
And a ship loaded with prophets
That takes off in the smoke
And takes away a desire from each
What do you believe when everything is true?
When black is a mirror
When life weighs less
How do you see us from up there?
Where the blue is so intense
And the pain is tinged with green
Here, everything is fine. Passing the days
Yesterday from the rooftop
I played imagining that by making signals
Of light maybe you would see me
And you would come to find me
Before the sea takes us away
What do you believe when everything is true?
When black is a mirror
When life weighs less
How do you see us from up there?
Where the blue is so intense
And the pain is tinged with green
